1980: Expansion into the sea cargo market as an NVOCC.
1982: First U.S. office opens at JFK International Airport.

1988: Purchased Air Commerce Customs Brokers, Inc., which is now a wholly owned subsidiary.
1990: Opened 8 new offices in mainland China and 6 new offices in the U.S.
1991: Total U.S. network expands to 10 offices.
1993: Asia network expansion bringing the total count to 18 offices.
2001: Sea cargo market share places ATE in top 5 NVOCC Trans Pacific – U.S.
2002: Total employee count climbs over 700.
2004: Continued expansion increases employee count to over 900
2006: Air Tiger Express Companies Inc. completes worldwide restructuring. Corporate home office location remains in New York where founder and Chairman Richard Chu resides. Paul Liu named President and COO Asia. Timothy Jui President and COO U.S. and John Johung CFO of ATE’s worldwide network.
